How Long Is Chiropractic School?
Chiropractors typically complete four years of undergraduate education followed by a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) program, which usually takes about four additional years.
Accredited chiropractic programs in the United States require approximately 4,200 to 5,000 hours of classroom instruction, laboratory work, and clinical training. Coursework commonly includes anatomy, physiology, neurology, radiology, and biomechanics. After graduation, chiropractors must pass national board examinations and obtain state licensure.
