Diagnosing neck pain
Signs and symptoms
If you suffer from neck pain, you are no stranger to the discomfort and pain associated with it. To understand the causes of neck pain, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the cervical spine. The cervical spine is made up of seven cervical vertebrae. Between the vertebrae, there are seven discs which cushion the bones and allow your neck to bend and twist.
If you injure your muscle or ligament, the vertebrae and discs cannot perform their intended function and can cause neck pain for a short period of time. In the event your neck pain continues after a few weeks, you may have a spinal misalignment, herniated disc, or another serious condition.
Although symptoms vary based on cause and severity, the most common symptoms include:
- Muscle spasms
- Muscle tightness
- Trouble bending and rotating your neck
- Numbness, weakness, or tingling

How we help
Diagnose your cause of pain
During your first consultation, your chiropractor will start by asking you a few questions about your medical history, discuss your symptoms, and perform a physical examination of your neck and spine. If necessary, your doctor may also perform an X-Ray scan.
Customize a treatment plan
Once your injuries are diagnosed, your doctor will perform a non-invasive chiropractic adjustment using minimal force and gentle pressure on the joints of the neck to improve the mobility of the spine, restore range of motion, and relieve painful symptoms.
Monitor your recovery progress
Depending on the severity of your neck pain, your customized treatment plan may vary in the number of required follow-up visits. The good news is that County Line Chiropractic may help you feel better and you’ll be on the road to enjoying a higher quality of life.
We treat our patients like our own family.
We are committed to providing each and every patient with the highest quality, customized care they deserve. You can count on our chiropractors to help you live a happy, healthy, and pain-free life without any surgical procedures or harmful medications.
