Insurance Plan claims and coverage

Injuries that are not severe can be effectively treated with non-invasive, drug-free treatments, but a significant number of health insurance companies consider such treatments as non-essential or wasteful to have on the insurance plan.

At County Line Chiropractic, we ease our patients’ burden by hiring in-house insurance specialists to provide transparent, comprehensive information regarding which services a patient’s health insurance plan covers and how much the patient will have to pay out-of-pocket.

General Information Regarding Medical Insurance Plan and Chiropractic Services

Insurance Plan coverage for a chiropractor

Despite many insurance companies treating chiropractic services as alternative medicine, many insurance plans cover costs associated with a limited number of chiropractic appointments. However, it is common for insurance companies to place restrictions and limits on chiropractic care.

Patients are frequently required to get a prescription or a referral from a primary care provider. And insurance companies will often stop covering chiropractic treatment after a pre-defined number of visits or when the patient shows no visible signs of progress in their recovery. However, patients should always double-check their policies to verify that their insurance plan considers chiropractic services as rehabilitative and restorative services.

We encourage patients to ask insurance agents prior to purchasing a health insurance policy whether the policy covers chiropractic treatment and what limits, restrictions, and requirements are associated with chiropractic visits.

Billing and Coverage Considerations at County Line Chiropractic

Insurance plan and insurance card

County Line Chiropractic accepts a wide variety of PPO and POS insurance plans. All our locations have in-house insurance specialists. The best way to find out if your insurance plan covers chiropractic care is to have a pre-appointment phone call with us. We can also inform patients which chiropractic services are covered by their insurance plans and what the out-of-pocket costs will be for treatment.

For uninsured patients, the first visit costs $197 and subsequent visits cost $75 each. Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid currently.
